3. What is a PIN?
A: A PIN (Personal
Identification Number) is equivalent to one paid course fee. Each PIN you
purchase can be used for one course. Group managers can assign PINs to
other groups or use the PIN to pay for a course for a trainee. For
example, if you purchase 5 PINS, then 5 of your employees can take the
course.

4. Why do you use PINs and not dollar amounts?
A: Since dollar
amounts for courses change and courses are not usually priced at a round
number, purchasing PINs is an easier way to keep track of the number of
courses you've purchased.

5. How do I order PINs?
A:
You can purchase
PINs via credit card or purchase order. On the left navigation bar, click
"Purchase Courses." Put the number of PINs you'd like to
purchase in the order form (1 course=1 PIN). Fill out your credit
information or your purchase order number.
Credits purchased with a credit card will be available
immediately. If you are paying with a purchase order, you will need to
send a check to the I DRIVE SAFELY Accounting Department.

6. I've mailed in my check with my Purchase Order number. How long
will I have to wait until the PINs
are in my account?
A: Your PINs will be
activated as soon as we receive your check and the payment clears. Please
allow at least 7-10 days for your payment to be received and
processed.

7. How do I assign PINs?
A: Log in with your
username and password. Click "Assign Courses" on the left-hand
navigation bar. Select the course. On the next page you will select
the Pass Percentage, Final Exam Attempts and the Course Completion date.
Enter the students First Name, Last Name, Email and click Assign. This
will send an email to a trainee with login information.
Note: Once you've assigned a PIN to
a trainee, you cannot reassign that same PIN later.

8. Why do I need to assign
PINs?
A:
Assigning a
trainee a PIN will automatically send the trainee an email which will
provide them with the needed log on information. If a PIN is not
assigned then the trainee will be unable to complete the course. The
PIN is used by a student to log in if he/she is taking the course in
multiple phases.

9. At what point are PINs
spent?
A: Once you assign a
PIN the trainee will receive an email. When the trainee completes
the course and receives a passing exam score the PIN is no longer
active. You may only assign a PIN one time.

10. How do I add trainees?
A: On the left-hand
navigation bar, You have 2 options for creating trainee
a) Click "Assign Courses" Select the course you want
the trainee to take. Next select Exam pass percentage, exam attempts and
the completion date. Enter the student name and email and click
Assign. I DRIVE SAFELY will send an email with the course
login Information to the trainee.
b) If you have multiple trainees you may select the course you would
like them to complete and then on the next page you can upload a CSV file
in the
section called Upload Multiple Trainees. The CSV format is
First Name, Last Name, Email. Remember you will still need to select
the pas percent, exam attempts and completion date. These will be
the same for all trainees in a multiple student upload.

11. How does a trainee take the course I have assigned them?
A:After you add the
trainee and select a course for them to complete an email containing a
direct link to the course, as well as the username and pin number the
trainee needs to log in to the course will be automatically sent to the
trainee. The student is then free to log in and out of the course as they
wish. You can keep track of their progress and due date by logging into
the Manager account and clicking Find A Trainee on the left hand side of
the page.

12. Can I Set the Passing
Percentage for my trainees?
A:Yes. After you
select the course to assign you may set the pass percentage rate.
You may also select the number of exam attempts and the course completion
date.
Note:
If
you are not setting the passing percentage, then 80% is
the default percentage will be assigned to your trainees.

13. How do I know the number of trainees I can create?
A: Click 'Assign
Courses' on the left-hand navigation bar, Then you can see the number of
unused pins, Which can be converted into Trainees. Incase you want to
create more trainees, Click 'Purchase Credits' on the left-hand navigation
bar for more credits.

14. How do I view a list of all of my trainees?
A: On the left-hand
navigation bar, click "All Trainees" to see a list of all
trainees. You can also search for an individual trainee by clicking Find a
Trainee and entering first name, last name or both.
